Team Building Animals
Wednesday, I put up a favorite ice breaker / team building activity and several of you wrote to ask how the rest of it went. Now, it’s fun in a meeting to use just the favorite color part, but I’ll finish the rest of the ice breaker for you this week. It’s been years since I stumbled across this ice breaker. I don’t know who to attribute it to and I may not have it perfectly right, but here goes – part two. (There are three parts.)
Today’s question is to name your favorite animal and, in a few words, describe how you feel / what you think of when you think of that animal. Another way to think about it is: if you were to be reincarnated as an animal, which animal would you choose?
My personal favorite animal is a dog. I think of dogs as intelligent, loving, caretaking, fiercely loyal and protective, and affectionate. (But the truth is, I’m lucky. I had a wonderful Airedale Terrier living with me (and loving me) for 18 years.)
Please share your chosen animal and the words you would use to describe it in “comments.”

A dog is my favorite animal, too. The description that comes to mind is unconditional love and devotion, a willing ear to listen to your joys and heartaches, again, without opinion,, fun, and a terrific walking companion.
Cat is my favourite pet. Its beautiful, unpredictable, a little wild and who says its not loyal. I have had seven cats and a dog and they were equally loyal!!!
Otters are my favorite animals. They are so playful and social and get to hang out in water all day.
