Anyone who works has encountered examples of Human Resources speak, those words and phrases beloved by HR people to describe events and concepts at work. Euphemisms that drive you crazy, replace plain, simple English. When was the last time an employee was fired when he can be subjected to hr speak and terminated, laid off, let go, downsized, early retired, bought out, underutilized, right sized or laterally transferred? HR speak is fraught with words and language that regular employees love to hate. What are your favorites?
