What Makes Your Good Boss - Good
A good boss will need to understand
1. Everyone's stake in the company. ( Especially his teams)
2. Will need to understand all the hardship of all his distributed team's work and also the individuals.
3.He will need to replace on anybody's absence.
4.He will have to work in all the distributed work areas to understand the above said.
4. Will need to find solutions rather than blame and listening to excuses.
5. Understanding the hardships he will need to identify the skills and coordinate well to avoid errors rather than "firing up on the fault".
6. Will need to be a good motivator, a self motivator and dedicated.
The Impact Your Good Boss Has on Your Work
I am now working with a Branding firm( www.gbrainindia.com) as a Business Development Manager. During my my experience as a Secretary at Mushrif, Kuwait, my manager supported me when he realized the amount of effort taken by me, Until then I had struggled. The reason: he was biased.
This experience made me understand all the Management Systems and with that experience made me want to acquire an MBA from the well-known modern University UEL, Docklands, London.
My thesis was done on Commitment Vs Motivation, based on a survey using a questionnaire and pilot study at TESCO)
Tips and Tricks
- I was leading a branch of an Institute (NIFE. I was biased with lots of negative impressions about my team members. All I did was motivate whereby my team boosted their production with an immediate effect.
- I have never sat at my cabin but worked with the workforce and also watched all my departments for any time wastage.
- Being one among them and to provide the feeling of being taken care of is what everyone wants.
- I have given them liberty to feel at home at work.
