Share the Worst Job You've Ever Had

I had been at my job for 18 years and was very happy until the day a new boss took over. He was an extremely hard person. I was intructed on one occasion to go unplug a stopped up toilet with a letter opener. I refused to and things went further downhill from there with hurtful remarks and demotions until I finally had to quit. regretfully so. due to the constant beratements.

What Made This Job Your Worst Job - Ever

I had put in a total of 23 years with this company and was very disheartened to be told that all of those faithful years meant nothing, and informed that loyalty meant nothing to him and he owed me nothing. My former boss at this company had passed away; he was the kindest person and the best boss I had ever had, a huge hole was left when we lost him.

Tips and Tricks

  • I don't know of anything I could have done differently, because there was no one above this boss to turn to, any suggestions?
