Joyce Russell is EVP and President of Adecco Staffing USA and runs the company's core staffing business; it is the staffing business leader in the United States. A twenty year veteran of the firm, Ms. Russell started as a branch manager and has served as the senior vice president of Adecco's Southern Division – the company's largest operating unit with more than 200 offices.
In her current role, Ms. Russell oversees field operations and executes growth strategies to keep Adecco the global leader in workforce solutions.
She has been widely recognized for her contributions to the staffing industry. She won the 2006 Highest Leaf Award from the Women's Venture Fund, a nonprofit organization that supports the business goals of women entrepreneurs. Ms. Russell also won Adecco's Rookie of the Year Award in 1988 and the Most Improved Area Award in 1990. She was recognized in 1998, 1999, and 2002 for running the most profitable divisions in the company.
Ms. Russell attained her bachelor's degree in Business and Communications from Baylor University. She was selected as one of two Adecco employees to be an official torch runner at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Chief Diversity Officer's Roundtable at Cornell University and is a volunteer for the Young Life and Hope Unlimited organizations.
