Office Party Alternatives for the Holidays

Employee recognition is front and center at this time of the year so I am looking at everything from performance bonuses to holiday parties and their alternatives in the office. Some organizations thrive on employee recognition and sponsor and offer a variety of holiday activities for employees.

Others focus their attention on just one: an expensive holiday office party. Depending on the state of your business, your industry, and your employee morale, smaller celebrations and charitable giving might highlight your holiday agenda this year.

I wanted to draw your attention to some less expensive alternatives to a big holiday office party while you still have time to plan and implement more simple types of employee recognition and thanks.

One thing is for sure. Don't let the holiday season pass without some recognition and a thank you to your employees for their every day, in every way, contributions to achieving your company mission.
