Applicant Tracking Systems Selection

Tuesday July 8, 2008

You may have noticed, but in the last six months, I have added a lot of new material in the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) niche. It's not an area of expertise for me so I have relied on the assistance of guest authors who do have the necessary expertise. Today's new article about Applicant Tracking Systems Selection is by Susan Vitale (pictured) who does have expertise and work experience in this area.

This is the final piece about software and systems I will publish for awhile. Be sure to take a look at all of the articles I have linked from the bottom of the first page of this new article to see the range of material published recently.

As always, I seek your feedback about what you'd like to see on the site. Several readers have written to me recently with article topic suggestions and they go immediately on my "article idea" list.

A Policy a Day - Cell Phone Use

I have completely revised my cell phone use policy to reflect the ever expanding capabilities of cell phones and other communication devices. Please take a look and replace your current policy where necessary. An excellent resource that highlights some of the research about the danger of cell phone use, employee safety, and employer liability is available from Braun Consulting: Employer Cell Phone Liability Update. See additional policies, checklists, forms, and samples.
