Student Wonders About HR

Monday April 17, 2006
A High School junior asks questions about how to enter the field of Human Resources. The student also wants academic advice and career information. If you have time to share, I'm sure your insights will be appreciated. I told the student: "I'd recommend that you attend any accredited business school. If it has a specialization or major in HR, that's good, too. Plan to continue on for your Masters and even your PhD or JD as we move into the future of HR and being eligible for the "best" jobs. You will especially want to participate in several internships, if possible, at large and small companies."
