Leadership Vision

Leaders have vision. They share a dream and direction that other people want to share and follow. The leadership vision goes beyond your written organizational mission statement and your vision statement. The vision of leadership permeates the workplace and is manifested in the actions, beliefs, values and goals of your organization’s leaders.

Yesterday, I did exit interviews with two valued members of a client's sales department. One of the issues they both cited was the lack of clear direction and agreed-upon goals. They told me they felt the company's mission was stable and important, but the clarity about how we would achieve the mission and our vision for the future changed every day.
