Motivation is a perpetual concern of readers at the HR site. Hey, I'm in the same boat as you are with my work with a 160 person client company. Bosses who don't empower, policies that constrain contribution, people missing from key positions, monotonous work and pay scales lower than we want to see, affect motivation. We're working on all of them and I'll keep you up-to-date. I think our progress should affect yours.
